Today is bittersweet for sure. I regretfully post this picture as the first picture of a new blog. I often scoff at those who “accidentally delete” their accounts to things, but I have recently fallen victim to such carelessness. The old “Things I’ve Encountered” is gone forever, but it has left at a good time. I am in Rome encountering brand new things, and I hope to share them with you all here, and continue to share more things I encounter when I return stateside.
I found this picture to be fitting because it is the site of ancient ruins. There were once great temples in this area, but now it is the site of this creepy cat sanctuary. There are hundreds of cats that live there and there are people that work at this site to help them. I don’t really care for cats, but whatever. This new blog is my cat sanctuary, a site where there once stood an awesome blog.
